The intervention used a multi-method approach consisting of interactive lectures, educational booklets, animated video presentations, simulation exercises, and hands-on anthropometric practice. Evaluation used pre- and post-test questionnaires to assess knowledge gains and an observation checklist based on WHO standards to evaluate anthropometric competency. Data were analyzed using a paired t-test. Results showed a significant increase in the mean knowledge score from 58.3 to 87.5 (p < 0.001), with cadres achieving good knowledge increasing from 13.3% to 90.0%. Anthropometric competency levels reached 96.7% for digital scale use, 93.3% for mid-upper arm circumference measurement, 86.7% for length measurement using a measuring board, and 83.3% for growth chart interpretation. This training program effectively improved the cadres' cognitive and psychomotor competencies, supporting community-based stunting prevention and early detection efforts.
2026-08-03T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 julhana julhana, Indra Rahmad, Fadlurahmi, Lalu Arwan Darmajaya https://jurnal.kesehatan.cendikiajenius-ind.id/index.php/PengabmasKes/article/view/447 Sosialisasi dan Pemberdayaan Remaja sebagai Upaya Pencegahan HIV/AIDS 2026-08-03T10:21:01+07:00 Indra Rahmad indrarahmad912@gmail.com julhana julhana julhana12345@gmail.com Aniharyati indrarahmad912@gmail.com Fadlurahmi indrarahmad912@gmail.com
HIV/AIDS remains a significant public health threat among adolescents due to limited knowledge and risky behaviors; this community service activity aims to improve the knowledge of adolescents and health workers about HIV/AIDS prevention. This community service program aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of health cadres in the early detection of sensory neuropathy using the Ipswich Touch Test (IpTT) through the Kasama Weki Kataho Supu approach. The program was conducted in Jatibaru Village, Asakota District, Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, from May to July 2026, involving 50 health cadres and 50 individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The intervention employed a one-group pre-test–post-test design and included health education, IpTT demonstrations, hands-on practice, booklet distribution, educational videos, and evaluation through pre- and post-tests, skill observation, and statistical analyses using the Wilcoxon and McNemar tests. The results showed significant improvements in cadres’ knowledge, with 94% achieving good knowledge, while 96% became competent in performing the IpTT (p<0.05). Furthermore, 60% of screened participants with diabetes were identified as having sensory neuropathy. In conclusion, the IpTT education and training program effectively strengthened health cadres’ capacity for early sensory neuropathy detection and is recommended for integration into the Prolanis program to reduce diabetes-related complications in the community.
2026-08-08T16:58:42+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 nurwahidah, Syaiful Syaiful, M.Fahrurrahman https://jurnal.kesehatan.cendikiajenius-ind.id/index.php/PengabmasKes/article/view/460 Deteksi Dini Karies dan Edukasi Kesehatan Gigi pada Anak Pra Sekolah 2026-09-05T19:20:55+07:00 Dewi Rosmalia dewirosmalia76@gmail.com Cici Idela ciciidela@gmail.com Lili Daryani lili.dariani@poltekkespadang.ac.id Arnetty arnetty@gmail.com
This community service activity aimed to facilitate the early detection of dental caries and to improve knowledge and skills in maintaining oral health among preschool children.
