Each stage included Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) and blood glucose examinations as indicators of success. The results showed a significant improvement in the knowledge and skills of both cadres and patients. Before the intervention, 90% of cadres and 74% of patients had low knowledge levels, but after the program, 80% of cadres and 68.43% of patients achieved good knowledge. The patients’ ABI scores also improved, with the number of borderline perfusion scores decreasing from 11 to 6 individuals, while normal scores increased from 27 to 32. Pre-test and post-test methods were used to compare the effectiveness of this educational intervention. The training involved providing information about pulmonary TB, the importance of adherence to treatment, and family support. The analysis revealed a significant increase in respondents' knowledge, from 10% in the good category before the intervention to 73.3% afterward; and in skills, from 10% to 90%. This intervention demonstrates that family participation and support influence the treatment outcomes of pulmonary TB patients, with active interaction in the learning process. This study emphasizes the importance of the family's role in improving patient adherence to treatment regimens and reducing the social stigma associated with this disease. In conclusion, by improving knowledge and skills through a supportive-educational nursing approach, families can serve as key supporters in the care of pulmonary TB patients. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for family-based intervention strategies in TB control, as well as provide a basis for developing a more inclusive and comprehensive health education model.
2026-06-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) https://jurnal.kesehatan.cendikiajenius-ind.id/index.php/PengabmasKes/article/view/348Optimalisasi Pendidikan Kesehatan Remaja: Pencegahan Penyakit Menular Seksual dan Pembentukan Gaya Hidup Sehat 2026-01-09T10:46:01+07:00Fitrifitri64311@gmail.comAminahaminah26@gmail.comEka Yulia Dithahekayulia26@gmail.comFathul Maysarah Syahabfathulmaysarah26@gmail.comHaekal Tradana Saputrahaekal26@gmail.comIda Diah Pahdila Wahyu Pebianaidadiah@gmail.comLusmiatilusmiat26@gmail.comRegita Zsalsabila Rahmaregita26@gmail.comReza Wira Sanjayarezawira26@gmail.comSelma Aqila Malwaniselma26@gmail.comSiti Nur Rahmadanisitinur@gmail.comSri Wahyunisriwahyun26@gmail.comM Bachtiar Safrudinbachtiar26@gmail.com
This community service activity aimed to increase adolescents’ knowledge and awareness regarding the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and the formation of a healthy lifestyle among students of SMK 12 Loa Buah, Samarinda City. According to the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey (SKI), the prevalence of stunting in West Sumatra reached 23.6%. One effective nutrition-sensitive intervention for stunting prevention is the Community-Based Total Sanitation (STBM) program, which consists of five main pillars. The working area of Belimbing Health Center in Padang shows a high-risk profile, with 449 stunted children, 247 underweight children, and exclusive breastfeeding coverage of only 62.76%. This Community Service Program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of pregnant women and mothers with children under two years old in implementing proper sanitation practices through the five STBM pillars. The intervention improved community participation, sanitation behavior, and family support for clean and healthy living. The community is expected to take a more active role in maintaining environmental sanitation and adopting clean and healthy living behaviors as an effort to prevent and reduce the prevalence of stunting. This activity is anticipated to contribute to the reduction of stunting rates in support of achieving the Golden Generation 2045.
2026-06-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) https://jurnal.kesehatan.cendikiajenius-ind.id/index.php/PengabmasKes/article/view/363Pencegahan Stunting Melalui Pemberdayaan Ibu Hamil dengan Pendekatan Holistik: Mencapai Generasi yang Sehat dan Berkualitas2026-01-25T20:37:24+07:00Delimadelimapakai1@gmail.comHerwatiherwati26@gmail.comMetri Lidya metrilidya@gmail.comErwanierwanierwani52@gmail.comElsyie Yuniartielsyie26@gmail.comAsep Irfanasepirfan222@gmail.com
This community service program aimed to prevent stunting through the holistic empowerment of pregnant women in the working area of Belimbing Public Health Center, Kuranji District, Padang City.
